Elizabeth Reaser has a career as an American film, TV and theatre actor. Her most notable performances include The Twilight Saga (film), Greys Anatomy (series) and True Detective. Since then, she has had minor parts in films such as Peter Pan and Aquamarine. The actress played Cleopatra during the 2nd season of the Netflix original series, Roman Empire. Also, she appeared in the film Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales, which is a classic in the cult genre. Jessica was selected by a global search to be the main character in The Outpost. Her producers received a recording of her performance in MMA and also a short clip of her performing. She sent them a video the following day of herself fighting swords. After reading the script, Jessica knew that the role will require training in weapons, and recorded her first lesson in a class with an experienced instructor. According to Jonathan Glassner, the stunt team was amazed by how well she did for her first lesson. The actress had never taken on any major roles before the US since all her films were shot in Australia. Jessica is able to embody her strong female role because of her passion for action, mixed martial arts skills, her horse-riding, her weapon and firearms abilities, and her athletic ability. In Australia she learnt muay Thai along with boxing. Jake Stormoen was working on Season 4 of the show and was in the process of meeting a dog who was wandering around the set. The dog was later discovered to be part of an entire litter of puppies who were able to take shelter in the set. Jessica took care of both puppies.
