Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada is an actress best known for playing Bo in the Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk, who was an actor and director. He was also a playwright, educator, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories as being at play rehearsals with her mom. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for kids. Silk completed her studies at St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting career in order to advance, then she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she met in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. They were engaged the year 2009 and wed with a civil ceremony December of the same year. The couple got married in Fredericton on April 10, 2011they renewed their vows, following Silk's change of religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in the month of May in 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the third season finale episode. The news was announced to fans of the series in a Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she was ready to return to her work. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of production of the fourth season. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) together with Lauren the actress (Zoie) among their top television couples. Entertainment Television.
